Smell well
When the pandemic began, the majority of people were staying in their own homes to avoid getting infected with COVID-19. This situation led us to have more activities in our houses like playing, cooking, and all sorts of activities that resulted in making our rooms more prone to being dirty; and what correlates with having a dirty house? A bad-smelling house.
Over time, a person can’t determine whether or not the house is smelly because our noses get used to the smell and this is called “nose blindness” and who wants a smelly house anyway? No one of course. We always want a fragrant and clean home. Here are some tips to make your house smell better.
- Maintain good ventilation throughout the house by opening windows in the daytime
- Use baking soda to neutralize the odors
- Make your whole house tidy and organized.
- Take out the trash frequently
- Use an air freshener for your air ventilation system
- Clean your carpet as it can store molds creating a musty smell
- Pick up your pets’ waste if there are any
- Hire a professional cleaning service if the smell won’t go away
